My work as an artist is situated in the tension field of abstraction. I work on my pieces with the idea of ​​contrasting colors. I experiment with them and see how they react and harmonize with each other. I work with colors and textures, allowing the work to evolve. Thoughts and emotions flow into my work. Before each canvas, I dare to introduce new ideas.I try to transcend the rules of perspective to explore new fields of abstraction.
My abstract works represent a journey that not only reflects my own artistic development but also invites the viewer to discover and experience their own path through my works. The paintings have been presented internationally in group exhibitions and at art fairs.
Born on May 29, 1975, and raised in a small town in the southern German Rhine Valley, as an adult I discovered the urban energy and diversity of big cities and incorporated them into my art. I am particularly touched by urban facades and walls with their graffiti, which inspire me. These impressions have shaped me and are reflected in their diversity. After training as a graphic designer, I have worked as a freelance illustrator for publishers for over 20 years. My passion for art has existed since my youth. However, I only discovered abstract painting later in life.
