Oskar Derych is a Warsaw-based visual and sound artist, art historian, and former Vice-Rector at European Academy of Arts. Presented in Venice, London, and Zurich, his work belongs to collections across Europe, including Paris and Amsterdam. Derych rejects academic perfection to explore raw imperfection, error, and transgression as ultimate forms of expression. I believe true beauty lies in imperfection and authenticity. I reject the fleeting allure of polished, instant beauty and instead celebrate the raw, unfiltered stories that shape us. Life leaves its mark on each of us—on our bodies, our minds, and our souls.
