Gonzalo has been self-taught in photography since the age of 10 and later studied visual communication in Monterrey, Mexico. He expanded his formation through international masterclasses, residencies, and workshops, blending formal studies with ongoing research in tools and contemporary art practices.
Gonzalo has participated in cultural events and art fairs in Chile, the United States, and Europe, as well as international online projects highlighting Latin American artists. His work engages with themes of water and the environment, connecting with audiences beyond traditional exhibition spaces.
He has exhibited in solo and group shows in La Paz, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Houston, Minnesota, Budapest, and Hamburg. His photographs are held in private collections across Europe, the United States, and South America, reflecting a career dedicated to water, memory, and the transformation of time.
