Racquel Miller is a professional artist who resides in Connecticut. She specializes in creating acrylic paintings that feature calm and peaceful views, and she draws inspiration from all aspects of nature. Although she is self-taught, she allows her intuitive imagination to guide her art. Racquel uses heavy-duty gallery-wrapped canvas in various sizes, along with professional-grade acrylic paints for her paintings. All her works are original, and she puts special care into each piece that she creates.

Racquel is a wife and mother of three boys, who currently live with her in Connecticut. Although she was originally born and raised in Pasadena, California, the city of Tournament of Roses, her passion for nature comes from her parents' influence of the outdoors. By day, Racquel works as an event coordinator, but since 2020 she has enjoyed exploring the joy of creating through abstract botanical art.

Racquel's Statment

"As a self-taught abstract artist, I derive inspiration from nature, soft music, and life experiences. Every stroke of my artwork is guided by feelings and moments, allowing me to pause, slow down, replenish, and relax. My work is often described as intuitive, impressionistic, and abstract.

I enjoy taking walks in the morning or evening and gazing up at the beautiful sky, pondering how subtle and calm it is. I often find myself lost in deep thought about the wind blowing through the trees, the sound of streams running over rocks, the rush of a waterfall, or the birds chirping in their nearby homes. This inspires my work and gives me a sense of calm and comfort in a busy and chaotic world.

My art is soft, soothing, and focused on happy and appealing colors. Through my creative outlet, I have learned that no matter what the circumstances are, I am in control of that inner calm.

I hope that my work inspires you to look inside yourself and find your own inner peace and calmness, allowing you to get lost in what you see and feel."
