Satu Laurel

Satu Laurel (b. 1983) is known for her evocative use of romantic landscapes combined with bold abstract brushstrokes. After completing her BA in London (2007) and MA in Finland (2011), she has exhibited internationally, with solo and group shows across Europe, the USA, and the UK. Laurel’s works are included in numerous private and public collections. In 2024, she was selected for Saatchi Art’s Rising Stars collection. Her recent series explores the tension between memory, ideologies, and the nostalgia.
