Sara Chiaranzelli

Sara Chiaranzelli, born in Rome in 1979, lives and works in L’Aquila, where she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (ABA), earning a Four-Year Diploma in Painting and a Second-Level Academic Diploma in Visual Arts and Performing Arts - specializing in Painting. For over thirty years she has studied oil painting, a path of constant research that launched her exhibition career in 2002. Her study of the finest pigments is continuous, seeking innovation while respecting ancient oil and watercolor techniques. Currently, she is conducting experimental research hybridizing oil painting with ebru and suminagashi techniques.

Her exhibition and institutional career are characterized by public commissions and awards: she won the "VI Biennale di Atri," created the permanent Altarpiece "Madonna degli Zingari" for the Church of Sant’Anna in Giulianova, Abruzzo, and her major public projects include the winning artwork at Casoli Pinta and scenographic polyptychs for institutional events in L’Aquila. Additionally, she has organized several fundraising exhibitions as a benefactor and has donated original artworks to various institutions upon official request.
