Art De La Mer

Quin de la Mer (American, b. 1966) is an artist whose practice explores material alchemy, ecological transformation, and spiritual engagement. Working through painting, alternative photography, and ritual-based art-making, de la Mer approaches abstraction as a mode of spiritual inquiry—one that reveals the entanglement of human and more-than-human realms and brings unseen forces into felt experience. Art becomes a threshold where what is vanishing might still speak. Through sustainable methods and deep attunement, de la Mer creates visual languages that hold disappearance and the resilience of the Earth within thresholds of ecological change.
