Michael Lesiv

Michael Lesiv is a graphic artist, industrial designer, photographer. For me, create photography is a very good tool for research, it's highly creative science. A good photo is pushing for reflection. When I direct the camera at an object, I do not just confirm the fact of its existence, I enlarge its significance. I revels in what nature has provided. Beautiful forests, dressed in green robes, a beautiful field of sunflowers, with its head turned to the sun - everywhere there is the beauty which please the human eye..."

Kosiv Specialist College of Applied and Decorative Arts of Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts of Lviv National Academy of Arts.

In 2012, 2013, he was featured in significant international photo contests "SAOUD AL-THANI AWARD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY" (Qatar) and “Hamdan International Photography Award” (UAE), "GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013" in Germany. In 2014 his photo has been published in the December issue of BBC Wildlife Magazine. In 2017 he was a participant of photo contest "Wiki loves the Earth" (by Wikipedia) and became the winner in the category "Best photo of Rivne region". In 2018 he became the finalist of the Hamdan International Photography Award contest – “The Moment”.
