Mazè
Born in Romania in 2000, he graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 2023, where he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Painting Methodologies. His artistic practice deeply investigates melancholy as a liminal and symbolic state, situated between memory and desire, presence and absence, loss and longing. Through a contemplative and oneiric approach, his work explores themes such as saṃsāra, the cyclical nature of time, the loss of the sacred, and the complex experience of human existence, evoking spaces of reflection. His painting serves as a meditative journey into the subconscious, revealing the delicate balance between reality and dream, presence and absence.
