Izhak Volokita
Izhak Volokita is a visual artist holding an MPH in Disaster Management. With a background in directing humanitarian aid initiatives, including medical assistance his global perspective deeply influences his work. Volokita blends realism and sarcasm within a semi-abstract framework, challenging viewers by juxtaposing literal representation with cynical commentary. His process is entirely intuitive in favor of raw, spontaneous creation. Izhak was diagnosed with PTSD following an injury, as well as from the catastrophic sights in which he took part. It was only at the age of 48, that Izhak held a paintbrush for the very first time. Volokita believes nothing is more beautiful than imperfection.

MPH, Master of Public Health M.A. in International Disaster and Emergency Management B.A. in Logistics Healthcare Systems Manager
