Irina Jomir (b. 1983, Chișinău, Moldova) is a Norway-based fine art photographer whose work explores the Divine Feminine, secrecy, and psychological transformation. Known for her painterly, symbolically charged compositions, she creates staged photographic works collected by museums and exhibited internationally. Jomir has received major international awards and growing institutional recognition across Europe.
Trained in classical drawing, composition, and color theory at the Republican School of Fine Arts “Al. Plămădeală” in Chișinău, Moldova. This early formal education in fine arts established the visual and conceptual foundation for Jomir’s later photographic practice, where painterly construction, symbolism, and psychological depth converge in contemporary form.
Featured artist in Forbes and My Modern Met for her distinctive visual language. Interviews and features include Women United Art Magazine, ArtistCloseup Magazine, and Budapest Foto Awards. Jomir’s works appear in 101 Art Book: Portrait Edition and Women Artists on the Rise (Edition 2). She is also represented in the Luxury Edition XII and 30 Years Winner’s Collection of the Trierenberg Super Circuit.
Permanent collections: Museo d’Arte di Chianciano Terme (Italy) and the Museum of Avant-garde (Switzerland). Exhibited at Chianciano Art Biennale (Italy), CICA Museum (Korea), House of Lucie (Budapest & Athens), PH21 Gallery (Barcelona), and Golden Duck Gallery (Hungary).
