Fintan Whelan
Irish contemporary painter Fintan Whelan is known for his distinctive “alchemical” process, blending pigments, oils, and varnishes into luminous abstract compositions that evoke movement suspended in time. Through experimental process and philosophical exploration, he transforms paint into a medium capable of expressing motion, time, and subtle shifts in human perception. Internationally recognized, his “Water Dance” series was featured during the Venice Art Biennale 2022. His work is held in major collections, including the CICA Museum in South Korea and the Mangroves Art Foundation in Spain.
