Besufikad Ephrem Gebreselase
Besufikad Ephrem Gebreselase is a contemporary figurative painter and visual artist from Addis Ababa. A Fine Arts graduate of the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University, his work beautifully merges semi-abstract and structured geometric forms. Through his two main conceptual series the reflective "Memento Mori" and the emotionally intricate "Resonant Visions" Besufikad explores the complexities of life, mortality, and human experience, creating evocative, deeply textured visual narratives.

2024: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Arts, Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University. 2021: Fine Arts Certificate, Abyssinia Fine Arts Institution.

Art Instructor: Taught foundational and advanced art classes at the Abyssinia Fine Arts Institution. Grant Proposals: 2026 Applicant for the Liu Shiming Artist Grant for upcoming contemporary figurative project development.
