Iyanuoluwa Babalola is a Nigerian Painting Therapeutic and Visual Artist whose work explores healing, identity, storytelling, and cultural memory. Through expressive portraiture and symbolic elements inspired by his hometown, Fiditi, he transforms personal and collective narratives into visual experiences that encourage reflection and emotional connection. His practice blends art education, community engagement, and therapeutic creativity to promote cultural continuity, self-discovery, and emotional restoration.
Iyanuoluwa Babalola studied Fine and Applied Arts, beginning his training at Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, before advancing to Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, Nigeria, where he specialized in Painting. His academic journey strengthened his foundation in art education, visual storytelling, cultural studies, and expressive painting practice. He further expanded his professional development through participation in the Lighthouse Bootcamp 2025 in Ondo Town.
Iyanuoluwa Babalola has participated in several exhibitions and artistic showcases, including Visionary Voice 3.0 (2025), the LIMCAF Regional Exhibition as a Top 100 Finalist and award recipient, and ExhibitMOSHO 2026 in Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Through these exhibitions, his works have engaged diverse audiences, presenting narratives centered on healing, cultural identity, and storytelling while contributing to contemporary conversations in Nigerian visual art.
