Hi, I’m Amita—a self-taught artist from Hubli, India. After leaving my corporate career in 2010, art evolved from a personal passion into a full-time practice.Inspired by Claude Monet, my work revisits the timeless subject of water lilies and lotuses through a contemporary lens. Rather than depicting nature literally, I explore its fleeting moods—light, movement, and stillness—through an instinctive, process-led approach.For me, painting is a process of surrender.
