On a trip to the Ebro Delta in Spain, I had the opportunity to walk through olive groves, mountain landscapes and along extensive beaches. In this series I have mixed, jumbled, superimposed and interwoven my observations.
In my ongoing painting style ‘interwoven landscape’ or ‘disruptive images’, the landscapes appear concealed by a curtain, a veil, lines or stripes, interweavings that allude to our contemporary perception of the world through modern media and its flawed nature.
