About the artist
Evelyn La Starza is a self-taught artist who was born in Milan, Italy. Over the course of thirty years, she has found solace in art as a means of expressing her introspective and introverted nature. Following a career as an interior decorator and jewelry-accessory designer, she founded her own brand in 2004. After fifteen years of success, she made the decision to focus solely on painting.
All of the artist’s creations within the past thirty years are currently housed in private collections around the world. Her works are characterized by a spontaneous joy of using paint to express emotions and inner visions through colors and shapes. The process of painting is introspective, intuitive, and gestural, resulting in pieces distinguished by energetic brushstrokes and bold color palettes.

A Proof of Provenance is an official document that establishes the genuine nature of an artwork. Issued by a credible authority, this may be signed directly by the creator, the gallery representing the creator, or the specialist who collaborated with the artist. In cases of traded artworks, authenticated bodies or designated foundations may issue such certifications.
These documents are comprehensive, usually detailing the artist’s name, specifics of the artwork (including title, creation date, materials used, size), and ideally, an image of the art piece itself.
